Essay Workshop with Admissions Officers and Native Recruitment Liaisons

The Yale Office of Undergraduate Admissions invites you to participate in an essay workshop for Native prospective students interested in learning more about the essay section of the application. The session will feature an overview of the essay prompts on the Common App, Coalition Application, and QuestBridge application. 

Yale Admissions Officers and Native Recruitment Liaisons Debra Johns and Anna Smist (Sac & Fox) will be offering this program as a Zoom meeting. Yale is committed to recruiting Native students to be a part of the larger Native community here. This program is intended to directly engage with Native prospective students currently applying to Yale.

What to know about this special session:

  • As a participant, you will be able to share your video and audio.
  • Participants will be able to submit questions via live Q&A to the student panelists during the session.  
  • Registrants will receive a confirmation email with a link to the session and instructions on how to use the tele-conferencing platform Zoom.
