Up Close Virtual Session: Performing Arts

Thursday, September 30, 2021 at 7:00 PM until 8:00 PMEastern Daylight Time UTC -04:00

The Yale Office of Undergraduate Admissions invites you to participate in a special Up Close Virtual Session on Performing Arts. Yale College is home to a thriving arts community that offers hundreds of opportunities to study the arts and even more to create them. Regardless of their major, students can study alongside some of the world’s leading scholars and artists, while utilizing state-of-the art performance and exhibition spaces. Visit collegearts.yale.edu to learn more.

This special session will feature an overview of undergraduate instrumental, vocal, theatrical and dance opportunities inside and beyond the classroom. A panel of current undergraduate performing artists will share their experiences combining a serious commitment to performance with a broader liberal arts education. Participants may submit questions in advance or live during the event.

What to know about this special session:

  • As a participant, you will not share your video or audio.
  • After registering, you will be invited to submit 1-2 questions in advance. Presenters will use the advance questions to guide the panel conversations.
  • Participants will be able to submit questions via live Q&A to the student panelists during the session.
  • Registrants will receive a confirmation email with a link to the session and instructions on how to use the tele-conferencing platform Zoom.

Before attending, consider registering separately for a virtual information session to learn more about academic programs, residential life, admissions and financial aid from an admissions officer and current student.

Registration is no longer available because the registration deadline has passed.
